San
A kid's bedroom in soft cream and blush — safari-toile walls, an arched alcove and a bathroom finished in speckled terrazzo.
The brief
A children's room that had to work from cot to first bed — calm enough for a nursery today, not so themed that it dates by the time the room is outgrown.
The gallery
Every render, up close.

Designer's notes
The palette holds everything together: cream panelling to dado height, a safari toile above it drawn in the softest possible beige, and joinery lacquered to disappear into the wall. Nothing shouts, so the toys and books get to be the colour in the room.
An arched opening frames the sleeping alcove and gives the plan a soft edge. Storage runs floor to ceiling on both flanks — wardrobes, a changing chest, low open shelves at a height a child can actually reach.
The attached bathroom was rendered as part of the same set: white sanitaryware, wall-mounted taps and a terrazzo floor whose flecks bring in the only real colour in the scheme.
