The Working Floor
A full commercial floor — glass cabins, a sculpted timber core, acoustic pods and a terrazzo pantry, planned as one continuous plate around the window line.
The brief
A single office floor with glazing on two sides and one structural column in the middle of it. The brief was to give a growing team cabins, a boardroom, focus pods and a place to eat — without a single one of them blocking the daylight or the view.

Materials
A calm, warm palette.

Designer's notes
Everything solid was pushed inward and everything transparent was pushed outward. The MD cabin and the boardroom are built in black-framed glass so the window line stays continuous from any desk, and the open workstations sit right against the glazing where the light is best.
The column in the middle became the anchor rather than the problem — wrapped in sculpted oak that flares as it meets the ceiling, with a ribbon of light curving around it and a soft-seating cluster at its base. Acoustic pods and a red banquette booth sit just off it, so a call or a two-person conversation never has to travel to a meeting room.
The pantry is the one place the palette raises its voice: green herringbone tile, a terrazzo high table and orange stools under a timber-slat ceiling. Cabins get the quieter version of the same story — backlit display niches, fluted panelling, and a washroom in warm beige stone that carries the same daylight all the way to the back of the plate.
